Meet The Therapist

Hunada Zein Eddin

LPC, MA, MBA

Hi! My name is Hunada, and I am the Clinical Director and Founder of Zein Mindcare. The practice is named after the Arabic word Zein, meaning “good, kind, and benevolent.” It reflects my commitment to compassionate, empowering, culturally attuned mental health care, offered in both English and Arabic.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor serving clients in Virginia and Texas. I work with teens, young adults, adults, and couples facing anxiety, depression, trauma, mood challenges, PTSD, ADHD, relationship issues, life transitions, and self-esteem concerns. I also work with organizations, providing leadership coaching, workplace wellness, and consultation to help teams build resilience, foster psychological safety, and work more effectively together.

"Healing begins where gentleness and strength meet. Together, we can create a new narrative—one of resilience, growth, and self-discovery"

Our Approach

Guide to better Mental health

Our approach to therapy is tailored to improve and enhance mental well-being and to build long-lasting emotional resilience and balance in everyday life.

Therapeutic Foundation

Treatment is rooted in an empathic and relational framework. We prioritize emotional safety, consistency, and collaboration to support depth-oriented work within an attachment-based and
trauma-informed context.

Integration and Change

Therapy supports integrating insight with emotional processing and skill development. The change process is paced collaboratively to promote resilience, flexibility, and sustainable psychological well-being.

Reflective Exploration

Through careful listening and ongoing clinical assessment, we identify emotional and relational patterns as they emerge. Reflection is used to deepen insight into underlying processes that shape current thoughts, behaviors, and relationships.

Sustainable Long Term Growth

Regularly reviewing progress, adjusting therapeutic strategies, and empowering clients to maintain emotional wellbeing independently beyond therapy.

FAQ

frequenlty asked questions

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or are simply looking for support and clarity, therapy can be a helpful space to explore your thoughts and emotions. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit—therapy is for anyone seeking growth, healing, or greater self-understanding.

In a typical session, you’ll talk with your therapist in a safe, non-judgmental space about the challenges you’re facing. Together, you’ll explore your emotions, identify patterns, set goals, and develop strategies for healing and growth. Therapy is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs.

Therapy looks different for everyone. Some clients find clarity and relief in just a few sessions, while others engage in longer-term work. Your goals, needs, and progress will help determine the right duration for you, and we’ll revisit this together as therapy unfolds.

Yes—your privacy is deeply respected. Everything you share in therapy remains confidential, except in rare cases where there is a legal obligation to protect your safety or the safety of others. We’ll review these exceptions in detail during your first session.

We recognize that caregivers play an essential role in a teen’s emotional well-being. While therapy sessions are primarily one-on-one with the adolescent to protect their confidentiality and foster trust, we may involve parents or guardians at key points—such as during intake, treatment planning, or when discussing strategies for support at home.

With the teen’s consent (unless there’s a safety concern), we may share general themes or progress updates, but we do not disclose session details unless legally required. Our goal is to support both the teen’s growth and the family’s understanding in a way that respects the adolescent’s autonomy and developmental needs.

Yes. We offer HIPAA-compliant virtual therapy for clients residing in Texas and Virginia, providing flexibility and accessibility from the comfort of your own space.

We work with adolescents and adults dealing with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders, relationship challenges, life transitions, and more. Therapy is tailored to address your unique experiences and goals.

Our practice is rooted in trauma-informed and culturally responsive care, drawing from evidence-based approaches such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Attachment-Based Therapy
  • Narrative Therapy
  • ADHD Coaching
  • Polyvagal-informed strategies

We select the most appropriate methods based on your needs.

We accept several major insurance plans, including Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Oscar Health, Oxford, and UnitedHealthcare. If you’re out-of-network, we can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement through your plan. We’re happy to help you navigate the process.

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed sessions may be subject to a fee, as that time is reserved just for you.

Simply reach out to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. This gives us a chance to learn more about your needs, answer any questions, and determine whether we’re a good fit. From there, we can schedule your first session and begin your therapy journey.
